What Brings Patients In
Low energy is the common thread, but the drivers differ. Our evaluation is built to sort out thyroid dysfunction, iron deficiency and anemia, Lyme disease and Epstein-Barr virus, cortisol and adrenal patterns, hormone imbalances, hypometabolic patterns, and gut contributors such as H. pylori — each with specific lab markers that a standard workup rarely checks. Most patients arrive after months of normal results and unanswered questions.
- Thyroid fatigue — one of the most common and most missed causes
- Anemia and low iron — oxygen delivery problems that drain energy
- Lyme disease and EBV — infections that keep the immune system running
- Cortisol patterns and hormone imbalances — stress-related hormonal exhaustion
- Hypometabolic syndrome — cellular energy issues that hide on standard labs
Each page explains what we test for and what the findings mean — start wherever your symptoms point.
Testing That Fits Your Life
Our panel is chosen per patient: comprehensive blood testing, the Organic Acids Test, an adrenal stress profile, stool and gut testing, spirometry, and EKG — the right tests for the right clinical picture. Most samples are collected at home or at a local lab, so patients in Raleigh, Charlotte, Asheville, or the Outer Banks complete the same evaluation our Wilmington patients do.
Whichever route you take, results are reviewed with you in plain language and turned into a prioritized plan — what to address first, what to retest, and what to watch. The full sequence is laid out on our how it works page.
Prefer Not to Travel?
You are not alone. Many people dealing with deep fatigue are too tired for a drive across town, let alone across the state. That is why most of our testing panel works remotely: kits mailed to your home, a blood draw at a lab close to you, and every result reviewed with our team by telehealth.
